The Iowa Human Rights Research Conference is an annual event organized by the Iowa Network of Human Rights Academics with support from the University of Iowa Center for Human Rights. The conference provides a supportive and constructive opportunity for college and university students from across Iowa to present papers, posters, and creative projects on human rights topics and to engage in meaningful dialogue and networking with faculty members and their peers.

The 2023 conference takes place on April 22 at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The deadline for submission of student presentation proposals has now passed. A tentative schedule will be available soon. Please visit the Conference Information tab for registration, schedule, and other details.
